When a giant spider came to life on a Japanese tea garden
Japanese tea gardens are famous for their variety of unusual plants and strange shapes, but there are many other unusual creatures living there as well.
For instance, the giant Japanese tea tree, or jin-jiin, is a very large tree with two legs, one of which is actually the trunk.
There are also bamboo and bamboo shoots, a plant that grows on the sides of tall tea bushes.
In addition, there are the tiny Japanese teapots called yamagiri, which look like little tea pots, but can also be used to make delicious steamed food.
We love tea, so we decided to take a look at some of these fascinating creatures to get some tea ideas.
